Import customers, employees and jobs from a spreadsheet

Move your existing lists into Ledvaro from a CSV, checking each column before anything is written.

Steps

Export a CSV
From Excel or Google Sheets, save the sheet as CSV. The first row must be the column headings.
Start the import
Open Customers, Employees or Projects and choose Import. Each list imports its own kind of record.
Check the column mapping
Ledvaro guesses how your columns map and shows an example value from your file next to each one. Review every row of the mapping, and set any column you do not want to bring in to Do not import.
Import
Nothing is written until you confirm. When importing jobs, customers that are not already in Ledvaro are matched by name and created as needed.

There is a maximum number of rows per import. If your file is larger, split it and import in batches.
